Monday is garbage day!

Sunday was a surprise. We were watching a show, Signorina Volpe, set in Italy. JB needs subtitles anyway, but only part of the dialogue is in Italian. We play with the cats, and brush them as we watch. A miracle of miracles, NUTMEG sat on my lap blanket for the second time in a week. We adopted them as rescues in November, 2019. The poor little things found at the side of a road. She's not been a lap cat. JB has been giving her treats to lure her up on his lap, crushing her, and it has worked. Finally!

Mondays are garbage days. To answer your question, Barbara R., I cannot compost. The bear just knock it over. It was silly.

Off I went. I usually take my videocamera, just in case. We had rain coming in and the sunrise was lovely!

From there I thought I'd take Cinnamon walkies. We heard gunfire in the distance. Deer Season is Nov. 9 - 20. It is coming. The season for Migratory birds:

He flung himself up the tree.

The new camera picked up coyotes. They were there from 1 o'clock and stayed around for about 20 minutes! They are fascinating see who goes there in the night.

I'm glad your kitties found a home with you. Nutmeg is a beautiful tabby. Cinnamon is too funny with his tree climbing antics.

We have regular garbage/recycle/compost pick up on Fridays. Not bears for us (thankfully), it is the crows we have to watch out for as they will peck into the garbage bags & pull the contents out then the garbage folks won't pick up. Thankfully household compost is in a "locked" green bin.

Thanks for explaining the compost question. Love seeing the cat going for a walk in the woods, and leaping up a tree. What fun he was having!

I delight in your visitors. Thank you. And well done on getting Nutmeg's trust.

At least in the garbage field we're doing well. Every day of the week, except Saturday , is garbage day.

We LOVE Signora Volpe! I'm ready for new episodes!

Lizzie is like that -- definitely NOT a lap cat and if you manage to get her to stay without a hand or two on her, it's a miracle! Hats off to miracles!
