Well, nothing like Red, out west, but we did have a touch of snow Sunday. 'Tis the season! Cinnamon and I went walkies on Saturday.
It's an important bridge, and they have to redo the bearings, I read. It'll be closed from 8 to 5. They will have to close it next week, as well. The work has been delayed due to material and labour shortages.

In the meantime, Caitlin and her friend are enjoying a vacation in Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) sans kids! The photos are lovely.
You can just see Caitlin's orange toenails in this photo:
They had a day on the beach, then hit the nightlife. It's a hoot. Everyone has a headset. You can tune to one of three channels (red, green and blue) and dance to whichever channel you choose. It is otherwise silent, so you can, at least, talk to your friends!
The rhododendrons are wrapped, more for protection from the deer than the cold! The leaves are keeping the insects cozy. Cinnamon had a tick Sunday. Soon they will be frozen under the snow!

...snow made an appearance here too.
I read about the bridge in our town email, which comes 5 days/week.
Yes, it is getting cold at night. I don’t see any more balmy weather in the forecast.

Oh, I love that earphone disco idea!!! The sun decided not to bother getting up today; have had to have the light on to see the keyboard. It gives an entirely new dimension to the concept of dreary. YAM xx
Hello,
I like the shot of the pumpkins. The resort pool looks awesome.
I noticed your header image, is it new? Awesome photo!
Take care, have a great new week!
I'd like to be on a warm beach.
Bridge repair work on the highway by me has been driving our area residents MAD. There is an awful lot of standing around out there. You've probably noted us growling on my facebook page. The deadline was changed twice. Penalties were given. We HOPE it's going to be fully open this week.
We didn't get any snow to speak of. When daughter and I were out and about yesterday we noticed the odd flake flying around but hardly enough to warrant mentioning. My cousins down north of London sure got it!!
That bridge looks pretty important as the only route between the two sides. Like the disco idea...especially being able to converse with friends not dancing! Oh my, beach photos! Drool!
That's a very cold start to your morning, and all those orange goodies lined up, guess there will be visitors to the table every day.
I really, really like the idea of a silent dance.
Enjoy your week - and stay warm and cosy.
We had snow here too.
The earphone disco thing is really confusing. If they piped in a country station, they'd have to clear the dance floor for line dancing! Linda in Kansas
they say we may have 2 inches today and more tomorrow. We shall see! I'm not ready.
OH my! Caitlin looks like she's have a very wonderfully warm time.
