Nature and nurture

The good news this week was JB's PSA test. It's been level since his treatments. It's a major relief. He has another treatment this month, since the result is good. 💃Happy dance!

Public Order Commission Hearings on the Emergency Act

What has been helping us through is concentrating on certain issues, and focusing on that Circle of Influence. That said, I've been watching the testimony from the Public Commission hearing regarding the Emergency Measures. It's a relief as I have no influence, and is is somewhat remote at this point. There was 2 days of evidence on the impact of the occupation of the city of Ottawa. We've had some indication that while the core group of the convoy were truckers who blamed the Canadian government for vaccine mandates, the US instituted it, and Canada couldn't change that!

I found the funding of the convoy fascinating. As it all went on, hangers on from every right wing group possible wanted to tap into the money. Look where it came from, lots from south of the border! There was $24 CAD million from various fundraising platforms.

🌲Back to nature

Indoors, the orchid is doing so well. The light is making all the difference. It gets late afternoon sunshine.

The weather has been quite temperate. We've four frogs in the goldfish pond.

I love the sight of them all. They will sit here until they are all eaten.

Butch came for a wee bite under the bird feeders.

I smile, seeing Guinevere ghostly in the corner there... and Canadian pals on the opposite end of the border have had a significant fall of snow this weekend, so that mild stretch may be coming to a close! YAM xx

It's best to concentrate on the private/personal front, such as the good news about JB'S TEST.
Nothing good is to be expected from the country and its politicians.

That's a dramatic reduction in PSA. Glad to see it.

I'm glad the convoy business is getting looked into. Maybe it will prevent future foolishness. We are knee deep in in elections here. We have school board candidates running on national platforms such as immigration, inflation, and such. Tulsa had a couple of trumpers elected last time. They had no idea of the powers of the school board and how things are done and were shocked to hear that if they had objections to items on an agenda they needed to make the concerns noted. They didn't read a thing until the night of their first school board meeting. They thought they could just show up and sound off.

What great news on the medical front. The states had a lot to do with that convoy and the money that came from our side of the border doesn't surprise me at all.

Great news on the medical front.

I'm worried that the convoy will happen again. All the idiots are still running around out there. If they've found deep pockets to support them it's much easier.

Good news about JB's PSA test results - yes it's an occasion to dance!

We have also been following the inquiry into the Emergency Act. It is most revealing in many aspects. I hope that many of those that participated in that convoy will be present in Ottawa on November 11th so they can see what actual fighting for freedom means & takes.
