The cats have been having some fun indoors. With the nice weather they can go out in the Muskoka Room. Nutmeg, the smaller cat, was in the smaller upper deck. Cinnamon gave up and slept in the middle deck.
They miss watching bird TV, i.e., the bird feeders, but Bear has been on the move.
Phoebe has 3 eggs in the blue bird nest box.
Spider set off the motion detector! Turn the sound down...

The cowbird lays in other bird nests. It is against the Federal Migratory Birds Act to interfere in this situation. It is a treaty between the US and Canada in 1916. This gave us the Migratory Birds Act Convention.

I'll let nature take its course. The phoebes finally hatched. There were 4 phoebe eggs.

Flickers: They like the arbor, the dead elm a few metres away holds their nest. She likes to peek out at me!

Hello,
I think we had a bear move through our yard, my hummingbird feeders were apart on the ground and a metal trash can was knock over with the old bird feeders all over the ground. Love your baby bird videos and the flicker. Cute kitties. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
...your place is filled with new life.

Shame about the ducks... but as you say, nature and its course... YAM xx
You began with cats, which is appropriate for Caturday.
My phoebe has finally started nest building above the porch.
Too bad about the Wood Duck nest. I wonder if they had an invader?
Love your critters, though I am sorry about the wood ducks.
Good work on hand held camera for the flicker, enlarged and all. Tough job that. So glad a couple of nests have hatchlings.
Big spider! Odd about the ducks. I wonder what happened... I remain conflicted about cowbirds...
We saw some egg shells on our hike today and hope the birds hatched. Love seeing the Flicker!
Flickers are very attractive birds.
The cats are darlings.
The noise from the spider was jarring, even though I had turned my volume down before I played it.
It's good to see new life in the form of baby birds.
Love the baby bird video ❤
Hello :=) I hope the bluebird eggs hatch safely and the chicks do well. They are such beautiful birds. Well, I hope the other chicks also do well, but bluebirds are a favourite of mine.
All the best.
Finally nice weather here to get the veggies planted. Our baby robins have left the nest.
