😷COVID-19 & graphs

 Dec. 14th – update: 😷COVID-19

Once a math teacher, always a math teacher!

I did a graph for to figure out how quickly things were moving here. Good keeping the old brain cells firing! JB likes graphs as much as I do!

Leeds, Grenville, Lanark Health Unit totals

Our health unit does not report on weekends, but here are the graphs I made. The above chart reveals the trends in LGL Health Unit. The second, our our 5 regions of the health unit: Lanark West, Lanark East, Upper Canada west, east and central.
Our geographic regions within the health unit.

Rumours are flying about closing schools until February 7th. Also, stopping non-essential travel plans. There go the crazy people and conspiracy peeps. Mind you, they are pretty active, still. Sadly, my alma mater's conservatives are hosting this nutjobs.

A friend, my age, has agreed that this time we are so thankful our elderly parents are not here, to grapple with the virus, checking in, restrictions, masks and more. Graphs, charts, figures, maths was maybe my favourite subject, love the way you have displayed the data.

I am no good at this sort of thing, that is, graphics.
In my neck of the woods, the rumors are about an upcoming fourth vaccine. It sounds depressing and frustrating. Is that all medicine has to offer? with all the millions invested in researches along the years?!

I like a good graph too! It is scary how the numbers are going up.

Wondering when we will get finished with the virus ... maybe after we get our heads out of the sand . . .

Had a breakfast today. It was a final hurrah for now with th exponential growth. But if you like breakfast out, keep Freska on Bridge St in mind.

As a NON-math person, I am so impressed with your graphs and charts. I'm so tired of this pandemic. Sigh. Onwards we go.

Jenn - a good graph tells the story better than words ever could. Too bad it's a sad story. It's quite discouraging when you think about everything that we have done, and it's still not enough.
