Into town on Friday

This was our trip in to the hostage exchange Friday afternoon.

The trees are beginning to change colour!

The plantings are at their peak!

These silly people stood their at the beginning of the crosswalk, discussing whether they should cross, wil another family were crossing.

The town was packed.

I'm not sure what she was thinking! Cars scream around the corner!

I don't know what they are, but what a great garden.

It was somebody's birthday.

I like the stone buildings and pretty flowers but am not quite ready to see fall colors yet.

Is town safe, and do you have to wear masks in a public place? From today, masks are mandatory on public transport , the new pattern I am using has got a huge tick from Grandson. Comfortable, and no bought filter to fiddle with to insert. All OK here, off for driving licence medical, have to have a cognitive test too!!!

We're still required to wear masks, Jean. Except for our local MPP who has been fighting it in local stores.
The store aisles have directional arrows, and JB tells me everyone is mostly complying.
We haven't had a case here in 6 weeks, and we are hopeful.

Hi Jenn ... enjoyed the pictures especially those plantings .. so pretty !
I had a great laugh over the flamingos .. my neighbor gave me 2 made out of metal .. at first I was hesitant (I wasn't sure flamingos in my garden would be my sort of thing) but ? they are too cute and look quite at home, so they made it through the season making me smile every time I see them.
Cute little town !
