Gramma Camp!

The first look at the roads on Monday did not bode well. Speed demons! We were off to do the Gramma Camp 'hostage exchange.'

However, the wetland looks good. We've had some decent rains.

They are watering the baskets in town. I love this machine! I'm sure many of my gardener readers would do well with this.

Idle no more!
Happy days...

Geese in the field

Puzzles, Diamond Dotz, reading, computer games, after lunch a tree climb. I suggested they climb earlier rather than later. There was a storm brewing.
There was a heat warning.

Izzy found the tiger lillies!

Our DIL, Stacie, created Felix the puppet. They moved, recently, and were purging, and they sent him to us.

Josephine helped me clean out the water fountain.

This was the tree climbing.

Later in the afternoon, a storm brewed. It was wonderful to watch.

There was much thunder and lightning, but not near us. There is a strange break up that always happens. We are the stone in the river. I guess the rain peters out over the land.

Back to indoor play.

We had a pretty good day, planning our trip to the beach for Tuesday. We'll see how that goes.

This must have been Sunday as there was no fog.

Beaches always seem to be full to capacity here, have to line up by 6:0 or so for a spot in line. Thank goodness we go to the out of the way and not popular places. Gramma camp looks successful as always.

Actually, it was Monday, as the fog had burned off by then!
