Look up in the sky!

Tuesday afternoon, no sunshine, Cinnamon was in the hallway. "Walkies?" I asked. His eyes got wide and he went to the door. He sure knows the word. After vaguely looking for the squirrel in the front yard, he came along. He ran on ahead. As he always does! It's a race.

The sun is warmer, and there are signs of spring. You can see how the bark reflects the warmth of the sun. The snow is melted around the base of the tree.

Down at the pond, I stood on the dock and snapped a photo of two of the wood duck nesting boxes.

This is fun! My SIL went up for a ride in his friend's plane last week. He posted a few photos, announcing imminent take off, and I tracked them on Flight Radar.

They flew over near their house, and the girls were outside and waved! Can you see?! It is straight up above the windows of the house, to the right of the tree on the left. It's just a dot.

It's interesting comparing the two flight trackers, Flight Radar and Flight Aware! They did a touchdown landing in both Brockville and Smiths Falls.

I had a double take, for s.i.l. can also be sister in law. That was a son in law! What fun to have the flight path as well. Good travels.

I still get tickled by you taking your cat on a walk.

Fun to wave at somebody you know in the air. I hadn't done that in a long time. In the early 60's Dad had a friend who was a pilot it in the air force reserve and he would buzz the ranger station where Dad worked. Flying really really low. They probably don't let them do that any longer.

I think it's your turn to go up in the aircraft Jenn.

Flight Radar is such a fun app, and to fly over your own home, wonderful. Your cats, do they know when the ice is too soft to walk on? Loved those paws sinking into the soft snow and a shake of a back leg.
