Off we went. JB needed shoe laces for his new hiking boots. They have them in Almonte.
There were ghosts flying!
We drove by here last week: 1365 Lanark County Rd. 15, Fergusons Falls, Lanark. It is an interesting canoe launch. We've had a lot of rain lately. I wanted to see the water.
Almonte!
They have painted a rainbow crosswalk to celebrate the LGBTQ2 community.
I love the old Post Office. We were headed to L.G. Lee and Sons. It's an amazing store. They've used Almonte several times for Hallmark Christmas movies, as well as this store.
There were quite a few pigeons!
A piece of art showing Almonte himself.
There is always a driving incident! The truck on the right was tailing us, then zoomed past at high speed and with great noise. Then, the white truck passed us, then passed the red truck. They must be very important people to waste gas like this.
I love these properties. The Lanark Highlands are pretty.
They've converted a lot of farm land for these homes. I think I'd plant trees.
We came home through the town of Lanark. This old building is quite a mess. The roof is going in the main part of the building.
Another pop of colour!
The old shelving and the antique items on top, are wonderful. We managed the shoe laces (2 pair!) as well as a Christmas present. He likes the longer laces.
It's fun driving by and seeing the Christmas decor. You know what is going on!
And home safe, again.

A fun and colourful drive! YAM xx
Beautiful blog
Down here, we have been told " If you see anything in the shops you might need, now or later, buy it" There are rumbles that stocks of anything will be low, and new stock might not arrive till way into 2022. Love those colours, the homes, and yes, trees would be a great addition to that home.
A nice trip for laces!
Love watching Hallmark movies and spotting places we know where it was filmed.
Wonderful shots.
Nice fall drive!
This is a wonderful journey and I'm all the better for it thank you so much, Jenn
Speaking of Ferguson's Falls, I've heard nothing about Temples for quite some time. We were near recently, but I turned the other way toward home.
It looks like a fun road trip! And you still have color? We still have green on everything. That must have been such fun!
