Trailcam critters

Where do the seasons go? Here it is Thanksgiving weekend. Things are unfolding as it should. The birds are migrating, the bugs have lessened. The ladybugs are on the move. I was bitten twice as they gathered looking for a warm spot for winter.

We had a massive dump of rain October 2nd,12 mm, but it didn't seem to worry the turkeys. Sound on, if you like to listen to the rain!

The coyote seems to like the new driveway. They keep leaving their mark!

The buck made an appearance, as well.

I put the trailcam beside the spot where the coyote left a mark. It didn't come back, but the blue jay landed on top of the camera.

Butch raccoon has been busy, too. This was interesting, as there was one in the background behind the tree, watching the other four carefully. I imagine it's better having safety in numbers.

Finally,  🐻SNUGGLE Bears

This is a deer skull I found in the forest! It has their attention.

Hi Jenn! :) I love all the videos, watching the turkeys walk, they are so graceful! What a great video of the buck! Coyotes have been pooping left and right in this area, marking their territory. I love the Blue Jay looking into the camera! Your Teddy Bear photo is wonderful! Hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving!!

I wish our rain sounded like your rain... instead, we have washing machine against the windowpane stuff, with the occasional zipper against the glass sound - don't even want to think what made that behind the curtains!

As ever, your critters delight. YAM xx

Jenn - reassuring to know that Nature is carrying on despite the crazy humans! Love the raccoons and how they all seem to be pointed in the same direction! Happy Thanksgiving!
