Frequent Flyers

I was rather curious about this plane. It didn't show up on the radar. I could hear it coming!

Doing a capture of the image, I guessed at the registration...

 and found it.

Flying planes is becoming almost as popular as driving cars, and there are lots of incidents and accidents. Great worry!
Last month,a former coworker was on the way to Croatia for vacation, and his plane crashed. Both he and his wife were found dead. He was not new to this; got his license some ten years ago, and was a mechanical engineer by profession. May they rest in peace!

The last time I saw a float plane I was up in Canada staying overnight in one of the best cabin experiences I have ever had, very small and very rustic, cute and perfect. The owner said just leave your keys on the desk and grab some breakfast. He had left the whole place open (we were the only occupants) and was so trusting of strangers, we were in awe of his generosity of spirit. The float plane? He took off for a favorite fishing spot further north and we watched him go. Your post gave me some great memories, thank you Jenn :)

We get float planes flying over all the time. I assume they are heading to the harbour or the island airport somehow. It is always a bit weird to see them flying over the city.

I wonder if he moors his plane at the bottom of their land, a HUGE home, looks fabulous but such a lot of housework, you would need to live there full time to get the real value of the expense and beauty. Go girl, you can do anything, research might be a new career.

Amazing what one can find on the internet. (I assume that was your method.)

I agree that you make a fabulous detective. I haven't seen one of those either.

Well done! And I loved your critters too. I'm trying to catch up or at least start anew! Apologies for now answering comments -- trying to get back on track!
