Gramma Camp – Week 35.4

 Thursday

Grampa went out in the humidity for his walk by the river. I did not! At 9:30 a.m., I didn't bother going downstairs to gently ease our fragile flowers into the morning. I flicked the light on from upstairs, rather than opening their curtains. Eventually, the emerged.

We wrapped presents. The girls chose these for Momma.

It included a special hat, and taco pants!

The afternoon video was Trolls. Josee was interested in the deleted scenes and the interviews. I sketched!  My troll looks a bit gruesome, but that is that.

Since it was a BlueRay video, they had to watch upstairs. I gave up my chair, but we had fun. They snacked on peanuts and dried mango. Well, Jos didn't have the mangoes, since her braces' protocols forbid such foods.

We went through the girl's Lego collection, supplemented by animals. I think it is time to pass it on.

I ordered pizza, and Grampa fetched it. The girls agreed to having green peppers on their pepperoni pizza!
They emptied the dishwasher.

Then, the final Dr. Watt show of the 2021 Gramma Camps. Grampa and Felix made their presentations, they did Close Eyes, and gave gifts. Grampa bought twizzlers, dipped in chocolate, drizzled with white and dark chocolate.  The twizzlers were set out in the shape of a '35' for our 35th pandemic Gramma Camp week. They began with us during March break 2020.

Apparently, they've had them before. [ Aug. 2017; Grandsitting 2.4 Wednesday] Jos shouldn't have had them at all, but she cleaned her teeth really well.

The library handed out nature watching booklets, Grampa brought two home.

Grampa ordered these special cards for the pair of them.

I looked out for the Persieds meteor shower, but by 9:20 it wasn't dark enough, and I thought the girls should get their sleep. (Me, too!)

I have thoroughly enjoyed and will miss Gramma Camp. As I'm sure you two will too. Awesome cards. Didn't realize Grandpa is a puppeteer.

Good idea to pass the Legos on, I tend to save too much clutter.

I've seen the meteors before this tine of year, but in the city itself, there's too much ambient light.
