Gramma Camp – Week 35

Sunday afternoon, off we went for the hostage exchange. Lots of people were out biking!

We've been passing this place during its build. Now we know what is for.

The Hostage exchange

The transfer for the last time this year.

On the way home, a horse rolling on its back for a backscratch. Not bad for a drive-by shooting!

We  picked our last videos. The store owner said he is losing money on the rentals and he is selling them off. That's so sad.

We have lots of bikers...!

They all went in to choose videos.

Izzy used her hand sanitizer, it's attached in a little pouch!

The girls have been sleeping separately, just to help with bedtime routines (i.e., lights out time), but Josephine said, since this is their last Gramma Camp here this year, that Isabelle could sleep downstairs with her. We arrived home, they unpacked, and watched a cheesy video. Trolls: World Tour

Dinner was leftover curry sloppy Joes! They liked it. I served it on hamburger buns. Grampa had bought cookies for dessert.

I guess all the online streaming options are killing all those traditional film-rent stores. Have fun together all of you! YAM xx

They will just do school from home this year?

Jenn Jilks said...

No, Pat, they are going back to their respective schools in September!

So hard to believe that real school will resume in September, and JB's school bus can have a well deserved holiday. You will so miss the company, but have a break too from Camp routines.

Can't believe that the girls are as tall or taller than grandma.
