Trailcam, GarlicFest, Around the world

I don't know if my oldest trailcam needs fresh batteries, but the meadow trailcam, ripped apart by the bear, is working well! Junior Bear has broken the rings that the straps hang onto.
Of course, Hooper....

Garlic Festival

We had our annual garlic festival.

We've been several times. Hubby popped in, I stayed home and held down the fort. We don't really use enough of it to buy a braid. It tends to go mouldy.

Around the World

I'm still watching the kids vicariously, with a woozy tummy. I think it is a virus, who knows... Thank you, all, for your well-wishes.

I had a brief on-line chat with both my daughter and Josee. It was fun!

We've had two postcards. One, with a Masai warrior from Tanzania. The next one arrived (much more quickly) from Paris, France!

Yesterday they headed from Bangkok, Thailand airport (BKK) => Toyko, Japan (NRT). I watched the flight!

Prior to their flight, for the 9 hours they were in Bangkok, they visited the reclining Budha. That took 3 1/2 hours! Here is a model. You can see the feet beside Josee.

It was fun chatting with Josee. She wondered what time it was here in Ontario! It was 8 a.m., at the time. She was in Bangkok, and it was 9 p.m.

I wrote that we were at -5 UTC, they were headed for Tokyo at +9!
Time Zone Map
They are here 11 days, lots of photos, I am sure.

A garlic festival sounds interesting. Our little town has a maple festival every spring. I like garlic a whole lot better than maple syrup.

Lovely pictures caught by your trail cam.

I've never been to the garlic fest, either Perth or Carp. Maybe if I lived closer, but garlic ... well, y'know ...

So lovely to see the fawn and mom. The planet seems to be shrinking as we watch faraway parts in real time. My trailcam shows mainly raccoons with young.

What fun to be in touch with your daughter and Josee while they are traveling to such exotic places. I have just splurged for one of those trail cams. Not that we have any kind of trail we can put it on close by. It is going on the deck to take photos of the birds and probably the squirrels and hopefully a visitor we don't normally get to see. Looks like a very enjoyable festival. We like garlic but have a hard time using a bulb up at times. Sorry you haven't been feeling well and I wish you a very speedy recovery.

flight tracker, like a trail cam maybe!!! Get well Jenn, cannot have you lingering inside, as JB goes off to garlic fairs and more.

I like to use garlic in cooking and have never been to a garlic festival, it could be fun!

The kids are doing so well in their trip.
Hope your woozy tummy soon goes.

All the best Jan

Garlic is an appetizer, so for the sake of my figure's weight, I stopped eating or cooking with it. I take a garlic supplement instead, as garlic has some good health benefits.
Love the time zone map.
