We so often need rain that I understand just how you feel. We have had a wet year and some parts of Oz have been too wet, but I still welcome it. And rain-washed air is one of the very best of scents.
I have forgotten what the scent of rain smells like. I have almost forgotten what rain looks like. I've had even less than you. LOVE those clouds, though.

Over the last week we have had more rain & the gardens are most grateful & my rain barrels (butts) are full again. I'll take the rain, even all day, just please Mother Nature keep those destructive winds to yourself!

...it's finally raining here this afternoon. We have received more rain today than all month. Life is good!
Beautiful skies. We had thunderstorm warnings all yesterday, but it seemed to stay south of here.
The crepuscular clouds and crepuscular rays are spectacular. I'm glad it has rained for you at last. We are still waiting for rain.
