The Peterborough OPP Office Incident
For some reason, @PtboPolice are not opening the door for Frank Curtin and his small group of supporters. #cdnpoli #Peterborough #QAnon pic.twitter.com/a87IrEvC5H

One dude was wearing a 1776 shirt. Does he know this is Canada?
The t-shirt is rather ironic. They didn't show much love to the police.
Counter-protester endures three separate physical assaults from an older lady who grabs his knapsack, lifts her foot to his crotch, and rips off his mask.

This happened directly outside @PtboPolice station. There’s not a single cop in sight. #cdnpoli #Peterborough #QAnon pic.twitter.com/Ba7lRtHpjb
Canada Marches
St. Brigid's Church in Ottawa
A group (TUPOC) is trying to buy a church in Ottawa, as headquarters. It's not going well.
They have ties to the Freedim Convoy, and are $10,000 in arrears for rent, which they admitted while being taped. Ottawa citizens are watching them closely. TUPOC began renovating the heritage building, and the owners are trying to evict them. The occupiers called the police to remove a CRFA journalist trying to attend a press conference.
Sadly, Q'anan is shifting from a fringe movement to the militia movement. Those who don't believe that they are a part of this world are stockpiling weapons, declaring sovereignty from the rest of us. Justin Ling, stated on CBC that there is a real danger as these people who have functionally disconnected and retreated into their own world.

Justin Ling's interview (YouTube) in summary:
These people stop recognizing the authority of the police, of municipal, provincial, and federal laws, and try to dictate their own authority. They are so engrossed in their own conspiracy theories that they will unplug and disconnect, and some will strike back. They decided that they get to dictate their own laws, which laws to follow, and get to decide who administers those laws. Extremists are opting out of society.
It is such a shame. Let us contrast this occupation with war and violence around the world.
There are a lot of angry people taking it out on others.
I wish you peace and tranquility. Deep breath.

It just hurts to see that one of the U.S. most horrifying "trends" is crossing the border into sane, lovely Canada. Rick calls them "freedumb" people. Freedim is good. I shake my head and wonder what happened to our world. It has turned into a giant cult.
And I sit here focused on my own life, enjoying a peaceful Sunday morning with birds chirping, trees dripping still a bit of rain from last night, and knowing that most of us in our community aren't mad enough to be out on the streets making big noise or trying to hurt others. Where does that madness come from? OK...much retribution for past wrongs. And lots of hot dry weather doesn't help. But these shots you shared seem from another world or another time, yet are right here in North America and yesterday! Wow. What ingredient has been added to spark violence, or just threats of it? Why do normal people buy into the really strange insanity of cults of political factions gone wrong?
Sadly, Police and Law seemed to have lost their authority everywhere in the world.
The lunatic fringe is making a lot of nose.
Freedimmers is a perfect description. We have them here too. Sigh.
I called them Freedimmers, because the disabled world doesn't like the 'dumb' description. It is pejorative, in that people who are aphasic, unable to speak, aren't dumb. They cannot speak.
Language is important, and should be inclusive. When we know better, we do better!
Just awful
Idiots. Each and every one of them.
It's sad to see the Q people are spreading to your country, too. I have trouble believing all the hate and violence that has escalated since trRump first came into office. He has both stirred the pot, then sat back and watched it boil over. Thanks for sharing these horrific visual statistics.
Irrational people can come up with bizarre ideas and believe other weird ideas.
There are far too many angry people and half probably don't even know what they are angry about, just following the others. So sad that this has spilled over into Canada.
There's entirely too much koolaid drinking, and I don't for the life of me understand why we're exporting our crazy :(
