Entertainment

Our Internet provider has removed caps for users. We used to run out near the end of the month. Now, it's pretty slow, but we still prefer videos. The orders take awhile, but they are worth it.

We have made it through the BBC Inspector Lewis DVD series, again. It's fun how you forget Whodunit. There are benefits to old age!

Our recent purchase was My Life is Murder, starring Lucy Lawless. It's a gentle Australian murder mystery/comedy/drama. ABC is so different from N.A. shows. Much less graphic, gratuitous violence and gore.

We've also watched Mystery Road, similarly based in Oz, but in the Outback. What I like about it is it has a lot of Aboriginal actors, and this is threaded through the story. As with the previous title, the scenery is amazing. I just hope our TV holds out. It's been showing signs! I don't really want to figure out how to buy a new TV right now!

Ah, I see you opted for the telly series of Mystery Road with Judy Davis as the cop. The original films are all worth a watch too (although the second one didn't add a lot to the canon). Top Aussie drama! Don't know the other one, I'll look for it. Another Aussie one I'd recommend is The Code. Good suspense and a little chilling... YAM xx

A good mystery is so worthwhile watching. Hugh now has Netflix, and one night we began to watch a program, not realising that it had at least 15 episodes. Needless to say this was a ONE episode a night, for a long time. Uncapped data is a huge bonus for us all right now.
