It is so cold!

Spring has been slow.

Botanists have been saying that our spring flowers will last longer this way. Sure!

Nutmeg was quite proud of herself. She 'cornered' a chipmunk in my post. I rescued these cedar posts from the property. Then, built a fake fences around all the cement. It's a very hot part of the front, with it drying out by August.

It got away!

I went out for a walk.

A goldfinch. The horse chestnut tree is getting leaves!

Sweet chipmunk! Glad that it got away!

The tulips have survived, I think they are lovely out there, a bright patch in the lawn. Chipmunk, so glad it managed to escape. That would have been a lot of fun.

Lovely to see your photographs.

It has been cooler during the day here in the UK and I've been pleased to have a coat on when out walking.
Temperature tonight will be 1 Celsius.

All the best Jan

It was cold here today too. Goldfinches look different here but both are pretty.

Hi Jenn, I'm back again.
Many thanks for your recent comment on the low carb diabetic … you said
"I'm so proud of myself. My granddaughter and I built a curry today!"

Many thanks for letting me know and well done, I'm sure it tasted wonderful.

My good wishes.

All the best Jan

Spring is coming very slowly here. Now we didn't get a snow storm but we will!

Jenn - yes, I agree with you. Brrr. Last weekend we planted annuals in our driveway planters, and in the pots on our deck. Tonight it could get right at freezing, so we had to cover those driveway plants. Grrr. Enjoy the rest of your week! (and congrats to Nutmeg on her hunting skills! I would rather it was a chipmunk than a bird.)

Hello,

Pretty flowers, we will wait until the last frost, maybe the end of May. It seems colder this spring. Love the Chipper and Goldfinch. Wishing you a happy day!
