Hooper and the terrarium

I found a fun activity: to plant a terrarium. I was concerned, as I'd seen evidence of a certain 1-year-old Harlequin Tabby cat playing in it before I planted it (My new, old terrarium).

It now sits on the coffee table. He found it this morning (Thursday, March 14th). It looks so nice!

I've been playing around with my new smartphone. These photos were fun! It's not a super phone, our kids' photos with their phones are startling with their quality.

I sent my 2nd text message yesterday. The dude taking away our old TVs to recycle asked me to text our address to him, as he was driving home from work. "Do you know how to text?" he asks.
Yes, I know! My M.Ed. was in Integrating Curriculum and Technology. SIGH. Now, we only got out smartphone last month... So the more valid question is do you have the capability...

Anyway, here he is, caught in the headlights, so-to-speak!

I'm going to have to trim the plant. He pulled it right out of the soil. Sigh. We'll go to plan B.

As Anvilcloud suggested, you can get to the point where he begs for food all the time, but so far it's a good means by which to distract him. He's a slim cat, he is eating much less food since being indoors for winter. We'll see how it goes.
He's a character!

I moved the terrarium. We shall see how this goes.

Would you be able to insert some chicken wire or other metal mesh to keep stray paws from entering? Oh for the energy of a kitten! YAM xx

Hooper really thinks this is specially for him. I have often been asked ? Do you have a mobile phone? Can you txt me? But lately all the sales people assume that I have an email address etc.Enjoy the new phone and the plants that survive Hooper's paws.

I think he needs to avail himself of your great outdoors to siphon off some of that impish energy.

I often think I would like to plant a terrarium, but I have two cats. You may have to move the terrarium up to a higher shelf, but once I found one of my cats on top of the freezer! Don't know how she got up there, and she couldn't figure out how to get down - the freezer is taller than I am!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Lovely photos and videos. I don't have a cat but the squirrels used to pull out the plants in my hanging basket on a regular basis. Oh well! Good luck, hope Hooper leaves your plants alone once the novelty has worn off. He sure is a pretty one :)
