We had lunch in Almonte, and were treated to sunshine songs.

But see who lurks in the night.
I heard something, and knew right away what it was! They figured out the cat door. We've had quite a few over the years. This is our original, lactating Butch.
He came in through the cat door. Left through it, slowly, as well! I knew this time was coming. I locked the cat door closed.

He fed her! A SURE sign of spring mating behaviour.

Yup, the imperative of critters doesn't wait for snow to go! YAM xx
When we lived in California we had a racoon, skunk and multiple possums use our cat door to get inside the house. In addition we had a terrible time with coyotes on the hill behind the condo. We ended up changing our last cat from an indoor/outdoor cat to indoor only. That was quite a challenge for several years. - Margy
Buds on the branches, a good sign. The cat door, what a laugh to see him waddle out again.
The starlings make me think of a Disney movie!
Oh my! Somebody came hungry. Hope your week is good my friend and that the sun shines! Hugs!
Spring is coming. Butch looks in good shape.
Oooh ~ love the racoon photos ~

Love your videos! What a cheeky raccoon... wow!
The Cardinal pair are gorgeous on the budding branches.
racoons visited my house too. They "search" warm place.
Hope, spring come soon.
