I hope you had a safe and happy New Year's celebration! I can tell, by Facebook, that many of you
did!
I wish you all the best that the world can bring: health, happiness, joy and love.
Something to do; someone to love; something to hope for!
I always think of those who serve, day in and day out.
I came across an OPP R.I.D.E. program last week, and both of the police officers were women! How cool is that?! I thanked them for doing good work on our behalf.
I remember our neighbours who horses escaped on a cold winter's night. One was hit by a car.
Both the attending veterinarian and the OPP officer who came were women. We're making gains, ladies. I fervently hope that my granddaughters are able to make choices, as much as my generation, and the one before, fought for!
Here is to !

Thanks! I wish you all the best in 2014, Happy New Year!
....and I hope that school administrators are more open to them than my generation or yours.
Happy 2014, Jennifer!
We actually stayed up until midnight, which is something we haven't done for years.
I love your chickadee photo. We stopped at a large rest area, where there are usually chickadees, on our way home from Red Deer on Monday, but only saw one or two sparrows, no chickadees. I was very disappointed.
Happy 2014.
Love, K
