More fall colours Part 2

I'm glad we went for our drive Monday. It was a lovely day. This is part 2.

We were headed to Westport, and took a quick trip to Rte 32 heading to MacDonald's Island, then the walking trail and boat launch.

There is a walking bridge, Portland Class I Walking Trail.

A barge was sitting there.
I love the quirky homes...

The geese were a bit far away, but they were there.

Yesterday, we took Nutmeg to the vet, she ate a bit, and she's on meds. It was a rainy, stormy day, with 32 mm rain. I videotaped the storm and captured two images. The winds whipped off a lot of leaves.

We even had hail on Wednesday, Sept. 30th.

You didn't capture lightning in a bottle, but you did capture lightning. :)

We had rain like that the other night too -- badly needed.
Gotta love the fall in the north country, so beautiful. I have been hearing the honking of geese overhead quite a bit lately.

The colours are really happening now ... you captured wonderful ones Jenn.
I so LOVE that lightening that you snatched from the sky !
We had 2 inches in a matter of minutes last night with some big bang cracks of thunder .. I have been hoping for clear nights as the full moon is happening, but I don't think I am going to be very lucky with that.
