We are easing into the day. Lots of rain is expected, and we've had small rainfalls in the past week. That means little traffic on the path. I've been saving these up. I spent yesterday fixing the eavestrough downspout in the sunshine. We will see if it holds. My legs are sore, up and down the danged ladder, as well as several trips into the hardware store.
BTW – Alberta has already had snow. I'm not quite ready, but I know it will arrive soon.
First up, the chipmunk. This was filming into the sunset, through the front window. But after I saw it do this the 4th time, I had to record. it. The squirrel baffle baffled it.

The raccoons are still finding grubs. I love their little paw action, as they dig and search. Soon, it will all be frozen over. They are getting plump for their winter. We tend to have more freeze–thaws with Climate Change. It used to be a nice cold winter, with more even temperatures. They would sleep a long time. That has changed.Butch 1 from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.
The deer are still hanging around. I just happened to look out, and there they were.doe from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.
The fisher was back Oct. 6. This was a great close-up.fisher Oct. 6 from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.
Finally, the coyote didn't like the box. It's good that they are cautious.Coyote Oct 8 from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.

I need to go and clear one of my downspouts. For some reason this one always clogs with leaves, but I can't figure out why it is more susceptible to this problem than the others. It may be time for replacements with leaf filters built in.
Lots of critters around your property!
You are teeming with wildlife! It is raining here.
You are SO brave to go up a ladder!!! Love the wildlife, the fisher has a huge tail.

Chipmunks are so darn cute, but they caused some damage at our house in Illinois with their tunnel digging. Sigh... I do still think they’re cute though.
Hello,
Wonderful trailcam videos. I like the Fisher, I have never seen one before. They are cool. We had new gutters with filters put on last year, I hope they are working. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care and stay well. Have a great day, happy weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
The weather is changing and I guess the wildlife is preparing too. Love that Fisher...look at the fur on that animal! Enjoy your day! Thanks for the videos!
Poor chipmunk :'( The Fisher video is great.
Hi Jenn :) Great videos. I love the raccoons, how their eyes just appear before you can see their bodies! What plant is the deer eating?
The deer is eating my hosta, Rain!
