The dentist – Oct. 5!

Yes, my April appointment was cancelled. JB had been for a cleaning and a sore gum. The protocols were good. I tried to make an appointment online, but didn't manage it. They phoned, as they'd had a cancellation for Oct. 5. Off we went.

The office felt quite safe. All, of course, wore protective gear. There is plexiglass everywhere. All of the magazines, books, and kid toys are put away. I wore my mask until they escorted me into the chair. It's the safest place, I felt, as they always wear masks. They know what they are doing.

Also, they have heavy plastic over the doorways, so that any germs are kept in the room.

JB went off to do groceries, while I had my cleaning. Off we went home.  The trees are just about done.

The trees were still lovely to see, people have begun decorating for Hallowe'en.

I don't know what this is!

This was peculiar. People need to be predictable, when driving. The dark car was turning left, then seemed to change their minds, and were trying to move back into the traffic through lane. We moved through the intersection and shook our head.

Horsies

I wonder what all this is about...

This older man had to pass us
in order to rush up to the light!

I tell you, three seasons: bugs, construction and snow.

I love this little building. The balcony has some lovely plants. People are looking for housing in our region. This was a lovely build in Perth, with 4 apartments.

We've a new medical clinic going in.

Unless, God Forbid, I feel some unbearable pain, I don't intend to go to dentist, optometrist, pedicurist during these corona days.. I'm scared. There's never hermetic sterility in these places.
By the way, judging by their ads on the web, prices go down.

We saw that hay fence just yesterday and stopped for pictures.

We had our dentist appointments and felt quite safe also. My sister is a retired dentist (not in our area) and she said what you said ...”they are used to masks and always careful. She added “Uncared for teeth can kill you.”

Your fall colors are so spectacular. It makes me long to travel and see some. Sigh...
