Fall colours Part 4: Westport and Foley Mountain

We are still celebrating our last day trip, on Monday, September 28th. This is a wonderful view on the way into Westport.

Off we went, up to visit the lookout, again. You can see it in the upper left of the photo.

We parked at Foley Mountain. First thing, a garter snake!

As we left, we had issues with cars. It was a busy spot!

From there, we drove the back roads. We had the sunroof open, and I snapped this pointing the camera straight up! Lots of birds are flocking, preparing to migrate. I think they were starlings.

There are many bogs in the area!

Amazing colours...

Very nice.

It's been very dry here for the past month, so I don't think we will have a great fall color display.

JB looks wonderful in both pictures; blue suits him.
The ice cream in his hand looks delicious; it makes one's mouth water.

Those oranges and reds, so beautiful, and the lookout is really high, you drive then have to trek up further!!!!Great view.

Short-sleeved tee shirts, ice cream and fall colours seem like an odd combination.

Any trip with ice cream is a great one!

We don't get much red or orange for fall colors so I'm a little jealous of your fall colors.

A wonderful drive! We enjoy that too.

That would be a nice outing, but quite possibly it will be the last ice cream cone for a long while.
