NaPoWriMo Day 10 – song titles

Day 10

Once I was 7 years old
Soon I'll be 60 years old
'Til it happens to you
You'll never know
Little spring showers
2016
It's a blank space
I can't feel my face
Thinking out loud
I taste sugar
My lips are moving
From ship to wreck
I don't wanna fight
Girls just want to have fun
Even God must get the blues
All you need is somebody to love
Hallelujah
What if you were a refugee?

Day 10's prompt challenges us to write a “book spine” poem. This involves taking a look at your bookshelves, and writing down titles in order (or rearranging the titles) to create a poem. Some fun images of book spine poems can be found here.

I had difficulty with this, I've also assigned this as a creative writing activity whereby kids cut out headlines from newspapers.

As I was working out, I was watching TV and watched the Moulin Rouge "Your Song" movie scene - YouTube. Perusing my DVD collection I thought, why not create a themed set of song titles? Then I just found the purchased list and saw some possibilities.

You had a tough challenge for your poems and managed well. Now as for song titles , I don't know any of them.
