To Do To Day
Make some chili in the crock pot
Hand of God |
Fix the printer, because it's a hot spot
Prepared some liquid hummingbird food
Pop new batteries into the camera
Wash the dirty hardwood floors
Gird the loins, such takes much stamina
Fix the dresser's sticky drawers
Rid the basement of unused clutter
Sweep garage and clean the shed
Get it done without a mutter
Repaint the badly peeling sled
Take a walk, I feels like roaming
Composter needs to be dumped and cleaned
Give the cats a brush or combing
Windows need to be rescreened
If this list I do accomplish
This my list I will demolish
The prompt was to use terms from a specialized dictionary. I have a rhyming dictionary, bought when I was teaching creative writing at the Beaver Creek medium security penitentiary. Other than that, I left all my dictionaries in my former classroom just before I quit teaching, facing stress and depression.
Instead, I used my To Do List from today!

LOL... am up to my eyeballs in 'list' at the moment as have moved into countdown mode for the trip (and still have some final tuning to do for that too - look out for that one!)... Have even been missing out on all my usual daily blog-reads... Think I need to step back and take a deep breath actually. A walk in your wilderness would do me just grand... YAM xx
A rhyming dictionary, what a find, I haven't seen one, but then I didn't know they were even printed. Definitely one to keep and use. Lovely words today, I hope you are saving, and keeping for your book of words, poems and other thoughts.
That was quite a list. Hopefully, it really wasn't meant to be done in one day.
I applied to teach at a prison after I retired, but they opted for a less experienced teacher who would come more cheaply. I think I lucked out.
Just reading your to do list makes me tired , even in such a cute form!
i'm at the point now, where my lists have lists...and as fun as that was to read, i am exhausted now!!!
Well you do this in a day and you're wonder woman!
Good luck with your chores!
