Trip to Belleville: Fall Colours!

Monday, September 23, we were off. My friend, Natrice, lives in Timmins and she was in Belleville to visit friends. We decided to meet up. The drive was glorious, with the trees looking beautiful. Eye candy! Don't blink, though, as soon the leaves will fall and be blanketed in snow.

Bridge work! Gotta hurry and get it done before winter.

I love the rock cuts.

We drove along highway #7, where the beavers have dammed the rivers. You can see how low the water is by the colour of the rocks.

Tweed announcing their fall fair.

Can you tell there is  ✅ELECTION43📈 Oct. 21st?

This house is lovely!

We're pretty dry in S.E. Ontario. We were happy to have a storm move in on Thursday.

The lightning map was fascinating as the afternoon storm moved through.

Hello,

The fall colors and trees are beautiful. The trees are slow to turn here.

Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy weekend!

Your fall colors are awesome. It's one of the good things about fall.

There is really no colour change here yet!

So quickly the leaves have changed colour, and fall is right there. Love those tall shrubs in pots on the verandah, maybe they are frost tender and het shelter in winter, hope you have a few more weeks before it gets really cold.

Love the pumpkin field in your header photograph, and the wonderful fall colours in your post.

All the best Jan

My father worked on hwy 7 back in the 1930s. He had rough words for working in those bogs along the route. Colors are amazing our way too!

Is that rocky spot along hwy 7? Whenever I have sailed by, I have wished to stop with the camera some day.

You were down in our area, one of these days we will meet up. A rainy day today, so time to get some inside jobs completed.

Glorious photos - you live in such a beautiful part of your country. Loved the rain video. We had several storms go through like that lately - with unbelievable rain, even thunder and lightening - which is quite unusual for NW Washington State. We had 5 inches of rain over a 2 1/2 day period. Have a great week ahead.
