I loved this family!
Basically, the LCBO stores, and many grocery stores, are closed here in Ontario, some pharmacies, as well. We plan leftover meatloaf, we will have a quiet day. I was thinking of rehanging the owl nesting box, which I took down yesterday. I'm still researching about its new location. It's snowing, though.
The Turkey Family
They've been around all winter. It's been a cold, snowy winter. The video: The chickadees have been singing. I also added the turkeys, they have been in the front yard, under the bird feeder, on the sidewalk. Happily, they are scraping at the ice on the sidewalk.

In the backyard, this from the trailcam. The poor things on the ice! When they slip, they scare the deer. The young deer think it is funny!

Then, I was out in the front, topping up the water in the birdbath. I saw our three crows do a flyover, they've been quite vocal lately, so I talked to them. The turkeys answered in the backyard. I ran out to the back yard, and cawed again (about 30 sec. in)! They responded and ran down the hill.
It seems as if mating season is starting, as they strut around.

I sense that spring is on the way, chickadees singing!
...I saw lots of turkeys last fall, but rarely do I see their tails fanned out. You sure have a bunch of critters in your neck of the woods.
