April 1st, 2013 - no joke! |

The goldfish pond is merrily spewing fountain water. April 1st it was still frozen but by April 9th, we were on the go!
I am very happy to see the precipitation, as last summer it was terrible dry.

Oct. 18th, 2012, the bull frog was still active. No sign of him yet! |
Today, April 14th, the snow has virtually melted and the grass is beginning to turn green in the sheltered backyard.
The video, below, shows the first year of the pond. I dug it in August, 2011, and by the first 10 days I had 7 frogs.
Even a bull frog moved in August, 2012, as we had a major drought and the wetland was just muck.
I felt like it was a nice oasis in the middle of the dry wetland. We have 16 acres, and about 9 of it is wetland.

I like your pond, it is neat seeing the wildlife coming to the pond. Great photos.
It's great that spring has sprung that far for you. Things progress pretty fast when they get going.
I like the pink flowers.
Nice to see that spring is coming1 Love your pond and hope your bullfrog comes visiting soon.
