This is the backyard action Feb. 21st. Not much action, actually. There were four of them resting and chewing their cud! They are like cows, in that respect.
The front yard had a bit more action. They will fight, hooves up, to establish and maintain dominance.

⛄Snow Day🌨
Well, it is another snow day here in Eastern Ontario. I looked out and again the snow has nearly covered the bird bath. This is the photo from last time that happened! It is higher than this. It'll be a snow blower morning! I'll see you on the other side!

...your yard is a busy place.
How wonderful to have such natural theatre in your yard. Your deer herd look so healthy. We use to get deer in the fields behind us, but alas too much urban sprawl has chased them away.
So far I have not witnessed any violence between the deer which visit our back acreage. They seem to disappear into the woods and lie down when it rains, maybe to preserve body heat. Very nice video. I posted three videos this morning to show a fox chasing and then catching a squirrel. The subjects are so small that I fear that they will not show up on a smart phone display.
I see that it is a snow day for the kids.
Fighting over territorial rights to your property is a big prize! Be careful with the snow blowing. 18 degrees F in KC this morning. Linda in Kansas
It is miserable here and the roads are a mess with snow. And we have no deer hanging about to keep us amused.

sunshine, snow and a herd of deer - what's not to love! YAM xx
Love seeing your deer. Shall I tell you it was 71 at 9 am and I opened all the windows. I need to go take more blossom photos today. As my windows open (in Feb!) so are some dazed flowers and trees.
You have a lot of visitors! They really are beautiful, Jenn, especially in the snow.
The animals must think it's spring.
I'm surprised we didn't get much overnight. It has just started snowing lightly again (10:30) but it isn't very heavy at all. Poor Chatham, St. Thomas took an awful hit with freezing rain. Lots of damage. memories of the ice storm......
Your back and front yards are full of entertainment! Cold here, with a bare skiff of snow, and lots of wind. Spring can't be far away!
They certainly do feel quite at home.
Loving all the deer and it looks like a winter wonderland. We saw a first crocus in the yard today, I was a bit shocked as it seems very early to me. Our day went up to 75 degrees F., another shock. Colder tomorrow and next week though.
Cute
They do make themselves right at home, don't they lol
