Happy Canada Day!

Isabelle made herself a flag out of rose petals. The maple leaf was too difficult. This is lovely!

We continue to have fun with the girls. Someone gave his camera to the girls in the car on the way here Monday!

Indoor play

The library was giving out Pet Rock Kits last week. Grampa picked up two for us. Jos is going to do hers today.

Isabelle did the painting outside, then glued the googly eyes on on top of the stove, then took photos.

Parallel Play

The critters continue to provide much joy. I believe this is either a question mark or a comma butterfly caterpillar. They love the hops vine.

Nutmeg snuggles with the pretend cat.

The storm

Outdoor play!

Grampa bought us a soccer ball. Isabelle made herself goal posts.

The bugs are awful, so we did our best. Josephine and I fetched trailcams (more on that tomorrow), it was a run for her as she ran to escape the bugs. The poor deer and the deerflies!

Process of Cancer treatment: PART LXXVI

Grampa left the house at 5:30 a.m., I was up at 5:40, for some reason. He took himself off to the ER to have his quarterly anti-cancer injection of Lupron.

It went really well. Only about 20 minutes there. He was the only one. It was simpler going there, rather than into the city with his urologist. The triage nurse gave it to him.

That's it for another three months, where we HAVE to go into the city for it.

Without looking it up, is that # 76??? So good to see an empty room anywhere these days.

Those girls are great company for you and seem like they are wonderful young kids. ;-)

You are both just the BEST grandpa and grandma. You’re making this stay-at-home time bearable for the girls. So glad that the ER time was short and safe.

You find some very neat things to keep the kids well occupied.

I think she did very well with the Maple Leaf in the centre of the flag.
