Rain, sunset, deer shed

All I can say is that our warm weather is giving us lovely skies.

Lots of froggies about and lots of rain. The grass is quite green, and the deer are happy.

I really need to bring in some wood from the stuff I had cut. It's just too wet, though. We had 15 mm (0.6") two days ago, and another dump this morning: ~5 mm (0.18 ").

The pond should be frozen over. Lots of evidence of critters: coyote and raccoon scat.

Daisy and I found a deer shed in the forest. It is from the previous winter. The tradition is to photograph it where you find it. Done. It's only missing the brow tine, which was chewed off, I guess. That gives me 6 antlers in my collection! Daisy is such a faithful girl!

This mild weather is amazing, and I'm loving it, though wouldn't mind a bit of snow to get into the festive mood. Our internet connection has been awful for the past week or so, so no getting online to visit favourite places. Hopefully it has been fixed today and I can visit favourite places once again.

I imagine the cats like rubbing their heads against fallen antlers!

You are getting an incredibly long fall. I wonder what will happen to frogs that are active so late in the year.
