My caregiver is slowly being relieved of duties! I still have a residual cough, giving me headaches, but I am better. He's cleaned house, in anticipation of our kids and newest granddaughter visiting.
He's been a wonderful shopper. He even bought me a bouquet of flowers, which wasn't on the list!
There are sales on! This angel was a bit more than I could manage to photograph properly, but you can see her purpose.
A lovely walk in the forest, finally! I took it slowly. There is a fallen log, which is being hollowed out! Thankfully, nothing jumped out at me! Buster was out but did not choose to follow.
There was much evidence of the deer rutting. The bucks fight over the females. Not that I've seen it! There was much disturbance in the leaves, down beyond the meadow, deep in the forest. A large deer track, which tells the story. I'd love to count them, but this is all I have.
The sun set on painted clouds.
At 6:45 p.m., we had our grounds crew trimming the growing grass. Very unusual for us for December.

Hello, pretty angel and I love the deers. The sunset is gorgeous. Great post. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
I wonder what creature is hollowing out that log. Beautiful sunsets!
So glad you are on the mend!
The sunset shots are beauties!
Great news that you are slowly, very slowly, getting back to normal. a wee walk, some stunning sunset pics, some of your visitors, and prep for family visits. Well done, Mr J, maybe you are that angel in real life. Take care, both of you, slowly is the order for today. Hugs.XXX
It's great that you are on the mend. Then we get some interesting outdoor shots. The weather has been extremely mild so we don't want to miss any of it.
So thrilled you are better! This post breathes wellbeing. Much appreciated
