Cyclosportif Perth: September 26th

Cyclosportif Perth is not a race--there will be no results and no timed sections.
With GPS, it makes it easier, I wonder how much signage there was?

I have a fear about bikes on the road! With impatient and dangerous drivers, as well as inexperienced cyclists, the sport can be dangerous. The Ghost Bikes in the country testify to this.

This is the 100k!
All map routes
I just cannot imagine traveling these distances on the roads. I hope all arrive safely!

The 96 miles (~155km) would frighten me!

Love the labels!

"The Roadie 100k” to “The Roadie 100 Miles" to the even more adventurous folks who like a bit of dirt and gravel with “The Dirty Version"--100k on a mix of paved and dirt roads.

Hubby and I went down to see the first group go by. The first left at 8:00 a.m., the next at 9:00 and then 9:30. It was chilly, and a great day for cycling.

There was a bike course set up out our way a week or so ago. Looks like they had the perfect day to bike.

Cyclists need some sort of flag to make them more visible. I have a rear view mirror on my helmet.
