We took a drive to Belleville, Prescott and Johnstown along the St. Laurence seaway, having lunch at the Bridgeview restaurant. There were lots of critters, but a very strange-looking duck with a pair of mallards! It has the blue like the mallard female, but it was very white, as well.
You can see how the trees have lost a lot of their leaves, simply due to dryness. It's a bit early for fall!
Here are some cows, and a few horses for hubby who loves the horses!

Hello Jen, the cute duck may be a hybrid Mallard. I love all the cows and the pretty horses. Great critter post and photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!
Horses are always a great sight. Regardless of its origin, the horse is a noble animal, and it's a pleasure to watch and ride.
Pretty duck. Horses and cows, too! I love cows. I've decided it's because of their big brown eyes!!! Fun post. Happy weekend!
Love these, and love that North Star Farm...
I haven't seen a duck like that before!

Love the rural scenes, no matter where they are or what the critter!!! ...and our orange leaves are starting to fall already... YAM xx
I guess mallards will mate with many ducks so they are getting harder and harder to identify!
It looks like part albino. there is a special term for this. Now you'll have to look it yup because I can't remember it.
Beautiful pasture land, and I love the horses of course. - Margy
