Richmond Fair – 2015

A perfect day. We did a lot of walking, which is good for us. The animals are fun, I'm not sure about the petting zoo. I hope they are free-range the rest of their time! Since we are mid-election, lots of booths up. Crafts, and other displays, including the prizes for food and flowers.

Thanks for the trip to Richmond Fair post. I quite imaged the sights and the sounds and the smells. Fall is officially here now! Cheers.

Fairs and markets are my cup of tea.
Your pictures seem to do justice to all the things displayed at the Fair: tractors, animals, performers, crafts etc..
I like the three pictures each with a woman practising some kind of handwork.
Good shots!

Wonderful, I feel as if I am right there. Wool carders. belts, produce, and the John Deere tractors. Superb series for us all to share, thanks so much for these.

Am a bit ambivalent about petting zoos too... though from what I can see here, these critters appear robust and healthy; same can't be said for many I have seen. What a super fair, though... YAM xx

Our fall fair was much smaller, and unfortunately, it rained both days. - Margy

Oh my gosh! There's so much to see and do. I haven't been to a fair in ages.
