September is creeping along

Our September has been a lovely month. The shoulder seasons are wonderful. Few bugs, even the ticks are slowing down, although I did have one on me a couple of days ago. Beautiful sun that warms the heart and soul.

The temperatures, after a brief dip, have given us delightful month. The harvests are being brought in. The trees are slightly painted with their fall colours. We had an errand, and then just kept driving. One of our favourite drives is following the mighty Madawaska River.

Beautiful route. We were that way a month or so back. I bet the colors will be SPECTACULAR in another week or so!

Lovely areas to drive through, the fall colours will be deeper very soon for you, down here, more spring bulbs every day are flowering, daffs finished, Bluebells with their drooping blooms, snowdrops white amongst the green leaves. For both of us, a wonderful season.

I can see why you'd take that drive. It's beautiful country.

The deer sign reminds me of hitting a deer on a back road at night. I wasn't speeding because it was raining hard, but it was still hard to stop. Fortunately he zigged when I zagged and I only clipped his butt on the side of my front bumper. We both survived, he with a sore bum and my car with a small spot of paint missing but no dent. - Margy

Not far from where I was living until recently. It's a nice area to wander and ponder.
