We were amazed at Hillside Gardens. I love the owl pumpkin stand. I wasn't sure what I would use it for the rest of the year, though. People are taking old plates, cups and saucers and making garden ornaments out of them.
I ordered 3 straw bales, and two apple trees! (One year I ordered 25 bales and built a pyramid!)
Trees are planted and pumpkins decorated.

Hello Jen, I like your fall header. The trees are lovely. The garden centers are fun to visit in the fall, I like the decorations and pumpkins. Happy Sunday, enjoy your new week ahead!
Stunning header, with reflections so peaceful, colours gorgeous. You are right ahead with the pumpkins, I can see you with those bales!!!
The double Muskoka chairs would do me nicely!
I didn't go to Rideau Hall- the National Arts Centre had an open house, so I was there, Enjoyed myself thoroughly.

Your header is delicious!!!... not to mention the thought of pumpkin all ways.... YAM xx
I love Halloween. I went to a produce stand with a friend in Bellingham today. They had a huge stack of pumpkins for carving, and I couldn't believe all of the choices in winter squash, and how big they were. Your last picture makes me think of how I decorated pumpkins when I was a teacher. I used construction paper and pins so it didn't rot for quite a while. After the Jack-o-lantern face it became the body of a Thanksgiving turkey (November for the States of course), then a Santa head for Christmas, and if it lasted enough, a snowman head for January. Fun to remember. - Margy
I love to visit places like this in the fall...loved seeing all of this. Love the owl stand, but can't think what else I would use it for, either.
