Hurricane Milton

🌀 Milton was set to hit early Thursday morning. He was early and landed Wednesday night. Collecting these was rather interesting. Look for the heroes!

🌎Zoom Earth had a great real time graphic

There are many heroes, including the scientists at NOAA. They fly various planes through the storm to gather valuable data.

Then, there is Scorpion Reef. I saw that turquoise oval on the radar. I found it what it is. There are critters on it, who, I hope, can hunker down.

This is a NOAA aircraft, they have NOAA042, NOAA043, and NOAA049, etc.

Bumpy ride into Hurricane #Milton on @NOAA WP-3D Orion #NOAA43 "Miss Piggy" to collect data to help improve the forecast and support hurricane research.

The USAF is there, as well.

Tampa Hospital (on an island) has an aqua fence!

Lightning strikes prior to the hurricane.

Some dude has storm surge cameras up.

Canadians lineworkers are on their way from Nova Scotia to Tampa. It's only 2511 km!

Tornados are embedded in the storm. Sloth evacuation at the Florida Aquarium:

Surge cameras posted on the shore.
