Ours days are relatively quiet. Rainy day on Wednesday (13mm/ 0.5"). I made it into the doctor with only a mild period of anxiety. He was pretty much on time, and it was a quick visit to renew my medical cannabis.
I have photos to look back on. I think this is the last of the Dahlias.
I'm still watching Jeremiah. He now has two froggie friends. One is a medium size and I don't think he could eat it.
This little one has been hanging about. I caught him Wednesday, and took him down to the frog pond where he belongs.
I have to figure out when to take Jeremiah down, as well. I have to leave it for a bit until no more froggies appear for shelter. It is so sad seeing them under the ice, trying to get a breath. The pond isn't deep enough for them to overwinter. It melts and thaws.
The doe came back to finish off the last Hosta!

...it's getting chilly here too, be well.
Hello,
The doe is sweet! We may have temps in the 80's this weekend.
Take care, have a wonderful day!
It looks like both you and the critters are getting ready for the new season.
We're still running our air conditioning during the day.
If a doe could smile for joy at her breakfast, I'm sure that one would!
I do like dahlias the one you've shown is a pretty colour.
All the best Jan
The slugs and snails have already eaten all my Hostas this year.
Bye bye hosta. Thank you for continuing to rescue the frogs.
So far I haven't lost any hostas but they really like my petunias.
Glad you renewed your cannabis. It's such a help. Thanks for sharing your beautiful life with us
It does make me laugh that you spent time moving frogs! I love that, caring for all the creatures.
Now I know that deer also like hostas :) you are the earth angel protector of all your wildlife. We have a cannabis shop about five miles away. It became legal in Virginia on July 1st, 2021. I forgot to say in your other post how much I liked your zucchini picture with Cinnamon looking on, and him sleeping with his toys. The flowers given were beautiful!
Your little frogs are so cute!
