Cinnamon walkies

It was -1 ℃. Thursday morning. We had a hard frost.

The deer have been out and about. That cool weather! They gather together in herds in winter. Apparently, this is the place to be!

Cinnamon and I went walkies. He was outside with me and asked to go to the back 40. He was a good helper. I set up our bears, and he sat with me on the edge of the pond. There were no frogs, they are asleep for winter.

There are fish in the goldfish pond. I snagged one of the little orange ones and brought it in. The others are hardy, I think.

Anyway, we went out back. No owl this time. Fungus!

And cedar trees!

Well done Cinnamon! My angel Jasper loved to climb trees... then wait for me to get the ladder to get him down again! YAM xx

Looks frosty there! Yes, fall is heading towards cold weather and the rut season is coming on strong so there will be a lot of activity.

Love the videos.

Cinnamon is funny. I half expected her to wrap her tail around a limb like a monkey. Her nuzzling the branch to mark her area is just a small area for such a big tree. Linda in Kansas

Smart little Cinnamon marking that branch for the next animal to come along...and I loved seeing her tail showing us how happy she was to be up there! Thanks for the video of her and the deer. Yes, many fish can stand living under the ice of winter, smart guys they must be!

The deer should keep you company this winter. Cin is quite a climber.
