Rainy days and indoor play is required!
When our kids were learning to drive, meaning between getting their licence and becoming an experienced driver, we had rules for their driving. There were many incidents in the news when teens, young drivers in a car with multiple passengers, wasn't a good combination.
The investigation continues into
the fatal collision that killed 16-year-old Alex Cryer, a student at Granite Ridge Education Centre in Sharbot Lake last Thursday. There were 6 kids in the car, and they took the kids (ages 15 - 17) to hospitals in Perth, Ottawa and Kingston.

sorry to hear about those young folk. It seems to be a rite of passage no amount of being warned against can prevent... Hooroo frae a bright and warm (shhh!) west coast where I am slowly recovering from COVID (grrrr gnashing of teeth mumbbllllee) YAM xx
Cars are scary even with experienced drivers ๐ข
It's always sad to hear of young lives cut short, for any reason. When I drive the roads near our local high school, I'm suddenly confronted by cars that drive faster, change lanes faster, and stop faster than regular traffic. I'm pretty sure those are the juniors and seniors. I think they have to be 16-1/2 to get their permits when they need another licensed driver with them...but that could just be a 17 year old who just got their license.
And then you, Jenn, got all that air traffic, while living in your peaceful countryside. When I visited Columbus OH, I was outside at the university most of the day, and planes (big commercial ones) were buzzing overhead all the time. Nobody else seemed to notice. I'm glad I'm living on nobody's flight pattern now!
I've noticed an increase in helicopter traffic over our area & not just Orange Ambulance & they are loud.
