Friday afternoon drive, continued! Here is part 1. A wonderful 23 C. day. Today, there is snow in central Ontario. We've just rain.
As we came to a stop sign, I told JB to hang a right. It was a dead end, along Briton-Houghton Rd., AKA CR #38, and we circled back to the Mill Pond Conservation Area.
Lots of cottages along the way.
The other side of the hill was too slippery with leaves. Back we went.
Isn't that lovely?
Sumac
It hopped out of the way, a good-sized leopard frog.

Looks like it is worth a visit. I've saved it in Google Maps, but it may get lost in all of the other Saves. :)
It is very lovely. There is a Mill Pond Preserve near here, also lovely, but much hillier.
...a bit of water makes nature look even nicer.
It looks like a lovely spot!
What a lovely hike ...

Lovely shots!
We did have brief snow in the city yesterday morning.
The views are spectacular. This is why we love Ontario so much.
