Doe and fawns

I called JB to the back door. Momma was right below the deck.

Stink eye, she gave me!

We've been seeing the deer and fawns regularly. There is a doe with twins in the backyard.
Here they are, munching away on the grass. They are unafraid of us as we watch. When I go walking in the forest, however, they skedaddle.

Then, as I glance out the front window, I see a tan-coloured butt walking by! I think one fawn is a male, with antler buds.

There goes the last of the hosta! Oh, well. We moved into their habitat.

Thanks to Eileen for hosting!
