This is a bit late to be releasing them, but one of them had to put on a bit more weight. The boys and girls are from separate litters, BTW. Apparently, with Taco and Burrito: the bigger one was protecting the smaller one by the side of the road. Mary Kate and Ashley took their time to gain enough weight to be released.

It is heartwarming to see these animals released back to the wild. I hope they do well.
This would have been in my #1 highlights of the year.What a great way to release them, and for 4 to be together, marvellous. I had no idea about this, and to see it all happening is amazing.

I have to tell you that I saw a Monarch Butterfly yesterday. I hope it makes it down south but it is pretty cool here today!

We had an owl one time that was very reluctant to leave. The guy doing the releasing opened the cage door and ran and nothing happened. He ended up having to shake the cage. Then the owl flew 10 m away and sat on a post.
