Garden progress...

The garden is crunchy. I have not watered much. The town of Perth has a water ban. This valiant flower is blooming. I played around trying to photograph both the flower and the honeybee. I have to research it a bit. I'm not finding it in my files! I think this was from our trip to Fuller Rare and Native Plants. I've killed a couple of the others I bought. sigh.

We had a few clouds rolling in. I put out laundry, hoping it would jinx some rain! It did. Just a bit of rain, about a mm, or two. I feel badly as the kids are camping nearby, but we are so dry! The grass is brown.

The potted plants I water. This is a trumpet flower, Mandevilla. It was a spur-of-the-moment, why not purchase!

On the trailcam, our porcupine,

and a momma and twins!

Oh, yes. Hooper came in at 5:30 a.m., soaked from his forest trek! Sensible Annabelle is nice and dry!

Hello, nice variety of critters. I love the cam photo of the deer. Your kitties look hungry. The porcupine is a cool critter, great capture. Pretty flowers. Thank so much for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend! PS, thanks for your visit and comment.

I love mandevilla - [not to self, see if can get a potted version for the Hutch]... oh those dear calves are too cute! Even crying out for rain over here in thy Bonny Land - not a common complaint!!! FABulous tennis yesterday, more to come today... YAM xx

5.30 a.m. is that the time you watch the tennis? Here it is from midnight onwards, but today from 12.45 a.m. I want to see if the suspended men's semi will continue? What a marathon for John Isner and Kevin Anderson, maybe the two tallest men playing these days. Twins, what a super photo.

Not quite, Jean. JB gets up at 5:00 a.m. to have a walk before the bugs get bad. The traffic is less, as well. The tennis is on at a reasonable hour. The UK is 6 hours ahead.

Water and rain are the name of the game.
The yellow flower is gorgeous; the trumpet shaped flower is also beautiful.

Gone are the days when we hanged laundry in the yard. The mobile, sophisticated rails for laundry drying are under the window of the laundry room, and that's very covenient.

and that's very convenient.

I was motivated to buy it, Yam, since my client's daughter had one!!!

Yes, we had the rain in the night as well. We still need lots more.

The only green grass left here is that being watered, and that which is under a lot of shade all day.

I do miss being able to hang out our laundry, it's not allowed on our subdivision. We finally got a bit of rain around supper time today, so you'll be getting it soon.

We are not under a watering ban, but we have to watch our dates and times and only one faucet at a time.
