Garden progress...

The garden is crunchy. I have not watered much. The town of Perth has a water ban. This valiant flower is blooming. I played around trying to photograph both the flower and the honeybee. I have to research it a bit. I'm not finding it in my files! I think this was from our trip to Fuller Rare and Native Plants. I've killed a couple of the others I bought. sigh.

We had a few clouds rolling in. I put out laundry, hoping it would jinx some rain! It did. Just a bit of rain, about a mm, or two. I feel badly as the kids are camping nearby, but we are so dry! The grass is brown.

The potted plants I water. This is a trumpet flower, Mandevilla. It was a spur-of-the-moment, why not purchase!

On the trailcam, our porcupine,

and a momma and twins!

Oh, yes. Hooper came in at 5:30 a.m., soaked from his forest trek! Sensible Annabelle is nice and dry!
