Bambi is back and a rural tour

First, at home.  Ms. Woodpecker is choosy about her seed selection. Forgive my blog formatting, there seems to be a spectre in my blog system!
seed flying
Mourning doves wait in the trees
Dorah or Daisy way at the back
Ubiquitous memorials -time for a rethink.
It's such beautiful countryside and I want to enjoy the view,
not contemplate my mortality.
Mules staring up at hubby as he drove.
This is a drive-by,
through hubby's window, shooting!
The lakes are cold and dark,
but reflect a clear blue Oct. 30th sky.

See the doe and fawn?

Mules have a way of staring, don't they?

I recall woodpeckers also love suet, but that might not be doable before winter.
