What a strange November!

The frogs are a hoot in the goldfish pond. We have 15 C. today. I went out, after feeding cats, to see the frogs. I counted 19!!!

In November, 2014:
November weather: Lake Effect Snow dominated Ontario I was skating on the frog pond!

The froggies are neat, I am enjoying this mild weather. But, it is raining here today. Happy Thursday, enjoy your weekend ahead!

We just had a huge wind storm, six foot waves on the lake and some cabins got damage. John happened to be up at our place when it hit and after hearing two trees break off across the bay he figured he better get home quick. Fortunately he took our larger boat so he made it down safely. He saw his boom was broken and floating awry, but it was too dangerous to try to do anything until the storm was over. He said our place was pretty protected so all should be okay, but he'll check again later. - Margy

Yes, I have seen some reminder photos of last year, the snow storm of a lifetime. So many frogs, will they all winter over somewhere? We are OK, cataract surgery went well, just extra busy with some sewing deadlines to meet!!!

All those frogs! How wonderful. Do you have a chorus at night? The unusual warm November probably has some ominous meaning, but it is hard not to just forget that and enjoy it I should imagine!

I wonder where the frogs are coming from. there has to be a nearby location that they don't like and they think the frog pond is better.

And it was a weird one today... rain, then clear skies for a little while, and then more rain!

@Beth Only toads have a noxious poison, but it doesn't hurt people!
@Jean The frogs over winter deep in the mud in the bottom of the pond. They have a chemical they make in their slumber, antifreeze!
